RICARD MASSÓ FOUNDATION

The Ricard Massó Foundation is a non-profit organization, founded in 2007 by Ricard Massó with a view to promote better education for marginalized children and the eradication of child labour through proper schooling.

New Mission

To promote the common good and enhance social development in the region of Rio Grande do Norte providing support for projects and programmes linked to culture and education, health, income and job generation and to all those who contribute to improve the quality of life of the population, especially among the poorer communities.

Scope:For these reasons, our activities focus on marginalized urban areas in the city of Natal and around its periphery, including the depressed rural areas of Rio Grande do Norte.

Established Brazilians and Europeans are in general the main protagonists of economical, social and cultural development in the area. Without the effort and commitment of all, these changes could not be possible. Together we can help transform, day by day, our society into something humane for all.

The Ricard Massó foundation brings joy to 600 families

More than 600 families from the Africa slum in Redinha Natal/RN spent an unforgettable “King´s day”, full of fun, with lots of presents and affection, thanks to the initiative of the Ricard Massó foundation. This was the second year that the foundation gave presents to every child in the slum.

The party took place on Sunday 6th January (“King´s Day”) in the local school. Here the children received a toy. It was a special and unforgettable day for the girls and boys and without doubt, it would not have been possible without the help of the teachers and collaborators from the school and the companies that contributed financially to make this dream come true.

As well as giving 500 toys to the children, the mothers of the 100 families who received help in their homes in the form of basic food supplies were clearly thrilled by the support from our organization.

The happiness in their faces was without doubt our most rewarding present at these parties. In the name of all the families, boys and girls:
